So, I feel slightly cursed already with how things are going and I haven't had a chance to even ride the bike yet.

I went to the DMV three times this week...

The first time I was going to just renew an old learning permit I never took advantage of, but the law had changed and now you were required to take the little on site road test before they would issue a new learning permit. Which seemed silly because I never owned a bike at all when I had the old one.

Whatever. Move on, come back the next day. Have a friend ride the bike up there. We arrive at like 11am. Stand in line, get told they are full today. Won't be able to take the test again.

Next day, my friend is busy, so I get this other guy I know that has driven motorcycles for 50 years to drive it up there for me. We are 500 feet from the DMV, he turns and he drops it (see pictures). So before I have ridden the bike, taken a test or anything else... My purchase is damaged. Sad girl faces.

I talk to the instructor. I tell him I am not in a good state of mind to take this. Please just fail me and give me the learning permit again so I can get some practice. He agrees. He has me literally walk the bike over the test line (fails) and I go home.

Even though it can be ridden just fine. I now have a sort of mental block. I refuse to touch it until the clutch is fixed. Can any of you suggest a clutch on Amazon that I can get quickly to swap this out? The fairing and handle can come later, but it would still be helpful if someone will point out where to get those. So that I can price them out and make sure my friend orders the correct parts.
