Some simple things that would make the game better:

Keep load out settings on aircraft consistent between games. I spend too much time configuring this.

Keep game settings consistent between games on different game modes. When I quit to the menu and then go right back to escalation I shouldn't have to reconfigure 8 settings.

Stop turning night vision on by default when I switch between views in an aircraft. This is EXTREMELY annoying. I play dawn games to enjoy the beautiful skybox but when I switch between views the game turns the NV filter back on per view switch. I do not want this or need this. When I hit N it should turn the NV filter off and it should not come back on at all on any aircraft until I hit N again.

Make missiles unselectable by default in aircraft that don't have armament to engage them. I understand making the player configure the targeting computer but this should be bare minimum to reduce noise and I shouldn't have to do it every time.

Give me a setting in the menus to have stability assist disabled by default. I like flying with it off but I hate having to press the button every time I spawn.
