I got an RFE on maintenance of status and to prove my last day of work my lawyers said they’re just going to reference my pay stubs and nothing else
Is that sufficient do you think. Because they said they’re not going to add termination letter or any of that information and stuff but I’m worried that it made on be enough?
UPDATE
My RFE was for maintenance of status. I left my last role on Feb 9th. My COS for the new job was applied on March 25th.
1. Is this normal?
2. We had already submitted pay stubs in the first response, but my attorney said they’re going to resubmit pay stubs and explain that March 25 is within the grace period of Feb 9 and that my status is valid.
There was nothing else in the RFE.
But isn’t this such a trivial RFE? I don’t know if we’re oversimplifying it.
I’ve been approved at POE many times before but company suggested USCIS as there’s more scrutiny at border these days
We did premium processing and I just got hit with RFE - looking for guidance
I have an engineering degree and they put me under the engineer category
What do you guys think I should do next and proceed with to get approval? Can I also try POE at the same time as the USCIS is pending ?
