PC No Display
I got my old gaming PC back from my buddy and have been slowly upgrading it. I recently ran into this issue where either on startup my PC would have no display or I would either be gaming or even doing simple tasks and my screen would go black, only for me to restart it and still have no display. All fans are running and everything seems to be turning on just fine. I have found that the only thing that will fix it is resetting the bios via CMOS battery. My specs are
ASUS Tuf Gaming X470-Plus MOBO
AMD Radeon RX 580 4GB GPU
Ryzen 5 3600 CPU
16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600Mhz (Dialed down to 3066)
Corsair rm750e 750 watt PSU
I have been having this issue and have replaced the RAM, PSU, Fully updated GPU drivers at 26.1.1 AMD software. Windows 11 at the latest update, swapped cables and monitors and installed all these parts only for it to keep happening. I have even used the AMD driver tool and the DDU method to see if it’s a corrupted driver. While gaming all my temps are in good shape and stay pretty cool. I have even dialed down my GPU clock speed down to a max of 1296Mhz to see if that was the issue. So far the only way I’ve been able to get display back is by resetting the CMOS battery which is also brand new. I really need help.
