Chase Amazon Visa only giving me 3% at Amazon but I am a primary Prime member

I've had an Amazon Chase Visa credit card for a few years. Until last year, I was a "household" member on someone else's Prime account (even though we were not at the same address), so I only got 3% back at Amazon and only signed up for my own Prime account when they stopped allowing non-household members Prime shipping benefits. They gave me the first year for only $15. I am unable to get the Chase card to switch to 5% back for Amazon purchases. I tried contacting Amazon and Chase several months ago and no one was able to figure out why I can't get the 5%. (Amazon told me it was because I did not pay for my Prime membership with the card, which I know is bogus; Chase said to talk to Amazon). I just noticed the wording about the rebate says "eligible Prime membership," so now I am wondering if my $15 membership excludes that. Can anyone suggest a way to fix this and get my 5% rebate?
