Hot take: Disney+ needs a real 'commuter mode' instead of more autoplay and promo clutter

Not the flashiest feature request, but as someone who travels a lot and watches on an iPhone in 5 to 20 minute bursts, Disney+ feels oddly built for couch binges instead of real life.

Here is my hot take: make an optional commuter mode that gets me back into what I was watching fast, quietly, and with fewer distractions. Stop treating the home screen like a billboard.

Specifically:

- Turn off autoplay previews everywhere when commuter mode is on, not just for Kids profiles.

- Put a bigger, cleaner Continue Watching row up front so it is the first thing you see.

- Add a one-tap Resume that remembers my last audio and subtitle settings per show.

- Give a simple scene or chapter jump, or at least a better scrubber, so dozing off on a flight does not turn into three minutes of guesswork.

I am not asking for tech support or missing content fixes. The UX has just gotten noisy and makes quick sessions annoying. I can live with recommendations, but the constant motion and promo tiles actively slow down the app's main job: press play, watch, stop.

Anyone else feel like Disney+ is trying too hard to be a social feed instead of a video player?
