Could someone please help me with rooting my Galaxy Tab A7 sm t500? 🥺🙏

I've been following this guide but am stuck on step 2. The suggested way to open the bootloader wouldn't work for me but I did see someone else say try holding volume down+power and then volume up+power, which has taken me to the first screen (pictured).

Picking 'reboot to bootloader' takes me to the 2nd image but nothing works once there except rebooting via the previous button combination again. What should I do? I'm not tech savvy enough to figure it out myself lol I need a step by step guide that actually works 🙏

Pokemod v PGSharp v Lsposed - which would you recommend?

I'm new and and looking for advice on which one is easiest to install and use, cheap, up to date, and safest (I'm aware the risk of ban can't be fully avoided but I can't play normally anyway due to disability so here we are).

Please help a disabled newbie (me!) get started

With the Pokemon anniversary hype my friends and I got back into Pokemon Go... right as my disability also became severe enough that I can no longer safely leave my house for too long - great timing!

The FOMO is crazy and my friends agreed it would be fair if I spoofed to keep up with them. Luckily I live close to a city so I only need to 'walk' for 20 minutes to raid with them and spin stops. I have no desire to teleport/snipe/shiny scan, I just want to play the game like I normally would if only it wouldn't physically endanger me now. I am aware there's always the risk of ban, but if I otherwise can't play at all, then I'd like to at least risk it and try.

I used to play on my iPhone but have a spare Galaxy Tab A7 I plan to dedicate to this.

  1. How do I root it?
  2. Which app would you recommend? (I've seen lots of suggestions for PGSharp?)
  3. How do I get started with the app, and how can I be sure my login details won't be stolen by it?
  4. What cooldowns should I be aware of (and anything else to mitigate risk of ban)?

If you could share any other advice on how to start (the process seems quite overwhelming to me) I would be so so thankful! 🙏
