


Wk 7 R3 Town run round the river!
Phewww! Right now I’m sat in my car after driving to town, parking up and chuffing my way round the river, docks, weir, basin etc. Last time I tried this I was in week 3 I think and walked most of it (felt a bit disheartened by it honestly!) However TODAY I actually RAN the whole thing!!! Me!! Obvs I’m a very slow beginner runner still but I never imagined I would be able to make it the whole way without walking. Now it’s only 4.22km which shocked me as that’s my usual length when I’m in my village over the hills and fields, but to me that’s a long ass way! I took it steady and my breathing was strong but not out of puff, the scenery made the whole run go quite quickly, I was passed by many amazing machine runners and had an enthusiastic spaniel jump up and paw punch me in the thigh but he was cute so I forgave him instantly. Anyway, I’m sweating but exhilarated and am sipping on a coffee from one of my favourite shops, time to drive back home and tell my 28yr old athletic son all about it 🤣💪🏻🙏🏻💕
