Hey everyone! Ive had a 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 650 since 2013 but I never did my own maintenance on it. Always took it to the shop. It’s been sitting for the last 6 years and I’m now on a mission to get it running again. I want to do most of the work myself with my brother in law.

I’m stump on what this part is. Clearly it needs to be replaced but I’m having a hard time figuring out what it pertains too.

This may be a silly question for seasoned bikers but I’m trying to learn and watching all the videos I can on YouTube to educate myself on proper maintenance.

If I do get it up and running I’ll be taking it to my local bike shop for a check up to make sure it’s cleared for the road.

Any suggestions and advice are welcomed!!
