My notes that helped me pass

Hello, this may not be for everyone. Prior to LVN school I had zero medical knowledge. If your school uses ATI, in the question bank theres a search feature where you can look up specific keywords and all questions related to that keyword pop up (you will see that in blue highlight). Also my instructors were very chill and we would review quizzes and tests afterward. Mnenomics helped me as well and also simple nursing videos. Sorry its 24 pages but it wouldnt let me upload the entire thing. Again this is what worked for me. My classmates would constantly tell me to stop doing all that and make fun of me for my long notes but guess who passed their exit on the first try!!

Sorry I just need to vent. I did a double at work and the nurse who was suppose to relieve me called off. It is protocol to endorse our dept narcotics to the dept next door which is in a different building but still on the same property. Well the nurse next door was asking me to pre pour the narcs, sign for them and give them to the CNAs to pass out to make her job easier since she still has to do medpass for her own dept (CNAs do med pass in my dept). I understand she already has a lot on her place but Ive covered both her dept and my dept and Ive done medpass on both sides. Her dept is 29 residents, mine is assisted living so I only give meds to about 20 residents. I texted my boss I was NOT comfortable with pre pouring narcotics and she said not to do it. The nurse was trying to push back and kept telling me "this isnt fair" "I got my own stuff to do", to which I said okay theres nothing I could do Im getting off a double sorry. She said others have done it before with no problem. Im just pissed right now and in shock, I understand shes upset but understaffing is not my problem, I was already over it by the time the double was over and my dept is always covering for hers because the same person has been calling off once a week for the past few months.
