This post has been a long time in the works, and will be posted in assorted cactus groups when I find time.

u/fractalcacti777 in California has stolen a bunch of cactus from me, and is refusing to ship them back. He told me that his space was open and invited me to leave my life and friends here in Illinois to grow cactus with him and breed plants and to grow ourselves. I shipped him a couple of boxes of cactus after leaving about 50 assorted mutants, specialty clones and other cactus in his care, with the EXPLICIT knowledge that they were still mine and that I would collect them back when I moved there. I sent him 2 boxes of plants from Illinois recently so I would free up space in my car for when I did move.

A few weeks ago he took way too much of the sauce and then out of nowhere (cause he was too high on his own supply) determined that in order for me to move there I needed to

Not sell anything that he didn't explicitly approve of

Not smoke weed or dabs except when he determined it was ok

Denounce my masonic ties (I am not a mason)

There were several more things but you can see by this list that he's absolutely batshit crazy.

After sending me this list of craziness, he said that I was not a good fit and he refused to allow me to move there, which was perfectly fine with me and I told him that. He then proceeded to cuss me out and again whine about how I'm not welcome.

I sent him a message reminding him that he had my cactus in his possession and said I would pay shipping for him to send them back to me.

He ignored me for several weeks, then said

I'm trying to honor my prior commitments and I would like to send you some seeds (almost all of his seeds are op or without lineage because he doesn't know what he's doing) to which I replied I will send you money so you can send my plants back.

To which he started crying and stomping his feet, these aren't your plants anymore.

He is not to be trusted, he has poorly managed seeds, and he has stolen from me. Any CF cactus, any rainbow mountain cactus, any funkoid that originates from him, favorite, wicked witch, and numerous other clones that he may attempt to sell are stolen property. He is not authorized to own or sell any of those clones. It's not limited to that list, he just refuses to be open about what plants of mine he has in his possession.
