Anyone have experience growing wild plum?

Last year I tracked down a wild plum, but it was in a difficult location and the fruit was to high to reach, so I grabbed a couple rotting plums off the ground and planted them. They sprouted! Now I'm not sure what to do! Lol Does anyone here have experience growing them?

Seeking Advice - Do I need a professional trainer for biting?

Mello is my 24 week old field golden retriever puppy, I've had him since Christmas, and we've always had issues with biting, but it's starting to escallate.

For those who will ask, he is crate trained and we are on a 1 hour up, 2 hour down schedule. He is fed three meals a day, and gets plenty of mental stimulation through lick mats, puzzles, and sniffing, while his physical activity is a walk every day on my lunch break and tug play throughout the day with toys.

While he was still little I used redirection to toys, but he still would bite my hands and arms and ignore the toy, so I tried stopping play and trying to distract with food or turning my back on him and ignoring him. Unfortunately this is no longer sustainable as he is now 50 pounds and biting very hard, biting my thighs, hands, and arms while jumping at me or on me from behind. He can jump and reach my face easily, but thankfully only goes after limbs. He is starting to scare me, as he is curling his lips and growling, he looks very intimidating. I know it is not true aggression and just frustration that I'm not doing whatever he wants me to do. These episodes most often happen on walks or when in the backyard for potty breaks, but it does occasionally happen indoors too.

I'm looking for advice from others who have had very persistent biters. What did you do? Is there anything I can do at this point... Or should I bite the bullet ($) and hire a trainer?
