LMU MSU or Pitt

I need help deciding where to go.

Schools: LMU, MSU, Pitt

Major: Marketing, considering Advertising Management at MSU since i didnt get into the business school.

Costs: LMU: 79k MSU: 47-48k Pitt: 64k

Loyola Marymount University (LMU) Pros:

  • Strong marketing/business programs (especially creative side like branding)
  • Nice campus in Santa Monica, near Los Angeles
  • Good connections for media, film, and creative industries
  • Smaller, more personalized environment, although I prefer bigger schools

Cons:

  • Extremely expensive
  • Lower campus energy/sports culture compared to big schools
  • ROI is questionable given the high cost
  • Not much to do on campus

Michigan State University (MSU) Pros:

  • Big campus with strong school spirit and sports energy, I love college basketball (Big Ten)
  • Traditional college experience
  • More affordable than LMU
  • Good reputation overall

Cons:

  • Not directly admitted into business school (Broad)
  • Would need to go through secondary admission process OR switch to Advertising Management
  • Risk/uncertainty about getting into desired major
  • I love looking at city skylines, especially at night or sunset. There's jackshit in Lansing, not the worst I've seen though.

University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) Pros:

  • Good academic reputation and solid job placement
  • Located in a city with lots of opportunities, I love the skyline
  • More affordable than LMU
  • They have a good football stadium, I would defo watch games whenever they have them.

Cons:

  • Campus is very integrated with the city (feels spread out rather than centralized)
  • No clear central student hub/area to hang out
  • Campus looks older and currently has construction
