I love Sofubi so much but lately have found the prices so great that I can't really even enjoy the pieces I do get sometimes. Some of the most well known artist's prices have become so exorbitant that I will never be able to afford them even if I wanted to. I understand tariffs etc really screwed things up but it also feels like other factors are at play.

It makes sense to save up for a piece you want and only purchase what you really love but with limited lotteries it makes that almost impossible; by the time you have saved enough, the price might have doubled or tripled from an already high price to begin with. It is starting to feel like only rich people can enjoy the hobby.

Does anyone else feel this way or am I just becoming out of touch?

They seem to be multiplying to the point it is all I am seeing. It sucks because some of them look really cool but AI is a plague and I feel personally it shouldn't be in the designer toy space at all.
