I'll probably get the film release eventually (supposed to have newly animated scenes for which it looks like they added an additional character too) but not anytime soon since it looks like the content is mostly the same

I love the retro design! The set is a pretty simple set with a digipak holding the disc and episode storyboard booklet

This set does have 10 dubs which is really neat too!

I do wish it had subs though even if it was just the dubtitles off YT. The characters talk over themselves so much it's hard to hear ahaha but that is part of it's comedic charm ahah

I had been watching out for the figure for a while but was waiting to bite for a good price >< Ended up getting her for 182 total off CR! Considering that's basically Japanese retail with free shipping, including local taxes and tariffs since it was US store not bad at all imo~

I love all the details and the shading and the design in general! The shading and sculpt while still a bit simpler compared to the promo photos is still pretty stellar!!

She was pretty easy to assemble albeit the hat slips off her head often and so does my violin bow. The bow is only held up by a small notch for the frog. Mine did scratch the area near it a bit as well unfortunately so definitely be careful! Unfortunately I got a bit of paint transfer from the hinges but I was able to remove it with an eraser... albeit i think I rubbed a bit of the matte top coat too...😅

Otherwise though no issues at all! I love all the extra glitter paint on her leggings and for the inside padding! Just gorgeous ✨✨ The base is so elaborate and beautiful too. I especially love all the details they added for the violin and bow 🎻Love it when the instruments are accurate and it even has real wire for the strings!

She is quite a space hog though so I'm still trying to figure where best to display her 😆

Ik of the horror stories with cr but I've gotten from em 6 times so far and nothing's arrived damaged. Maybe it's because I'm closer to their IA warehouse?? Also though I haven't used CR until post RS merger and all of my stuff has come from the IA warehouse. I have heard horror stories from the og Cali and the TX Funi warehouses though. All in all personally I haven't had any with shipping or anything

Black Lagoon - one of the few shows I watch dub always!!Such a good series and gotta to love a lady who can kick your ass LOL

Yona of the Dawn - ended up grabbing the UK complete collection since the US set goes for stupid. This UK release is dual region actually and there is a limited edition that they have but it's just some art cards and an art book so not worth the shelf space for me. But you can still find it pretty cheap so if you're looking for the show would recommend that release. Very stoked for season 2!!! This set interestingly was advertised with a slipcover but didn't come with it. I don't know if it was supposed to or if it was kept to the limited edition which I have seen with a slipcover 🤷

Initial D Theatrical Collection - been looking for this one for a hot while since I was able to complete my DVD save sets last year. Was just waiting around for a good enough price! I'm pretty excited to rewatch the films. Imo they're pretty good! The visual upgrade is nice and the car scenes are great! Tho overall I do think the series is definitely better but for fans definitely both are worth!
