Monday night NY strip

Black pepper, garlic salt, dill

Oven set to 200F, cooked till internal temp was 105F. Let sit for 10 minutes.

Stainless pan with my own beef tallow from previous steaks. 1 and a half minute per side including edges.

Let sit for 15 minutes. Still juicy as hell

Long time fan of Loaded boards. Tan Tien flex 3 is one of the best longboard ever made and I've cherished mine for years. I ride a Tesseract Basalt when I want to do more tricky stuff.

I've been hunting for a Bhangra or Tarab for a while now. I want a BIG BOY board but don't want to buy a new one for $389 plus shipping 😬

I found this Tarab II on FB marketplace listed for $200, paid $150. It's a little dirty, definitely been ridden. I don't mind this tho, I wont feel as bad when I wiff a trick and it lands on its top. Watching the road eat the Tesseract I bought brand new has been painful. It's on Carver Surfskate trucks with a bunch of risers which isn't really my thing but I'm not upset about it. Sector 9 wheels on the front, some no names on the rear.

It's tall but the ride is actually really neat! I know smaller boards are usually used for surfskates, but having a 30.5 inch wheel base on 47 inches to work with is crazy. The weight of the thing pivoting around the rear trucks feels suuuuper surfy. It really feels like a surfboard pivoting around the fins. I might even move it to the longer wheel base to test it out.

All that being said, I'm gonna clean it up and throw a on set of Paris trucks and smaller O'tangs like the Lord intended. I want to get better at cross steps and Peter Pans.

Thoughts on my find? Who tf built this thing? What would you do with it?

Thx for reading! 🐦
