Temperatures monitoring for my Evap and TEC air cooler
Monitor device:
TCA9548a i2c multiplexer.
ESP32 c3 MCU.
3 AHT30 temp/humi sensor.
Air cooler:
2W Mist maker.
2 TEC 12706 and 12703.
8x8cm, 5x5cm and 4x4cm jet fan.
4 heatskink.
AM: ambient temp.
SI: TEC hot side heatsink temp.
OP: output air temp.
WB: wet bulb temp.
DSA: temp difference between SI and AM, same apply to other one.
The day are hot and this air cooler doesnt do much to cool me down, it not really meant to, just testing things out.
The air ouput feel like the air coming out when you open the fridge. It ouput area are only 3x3cm, iam trying to find a way to make it scale up to 8x8cm or 12x12cm.
The evap cooler do most of the cooling so that the TEC can make the air reach lower temp, how cool this can go depend on the wetbulb temp.
The TEC hot side heat sink are cool with evap to, there paper lining on the sink to increase the area water can interact with air, the wet paper lining also act like a thermo interface. This let the jet fan do less work = to less noise there is still some noise coming from the bearing, there are also 2 auto water feeder.
TEC are running at low current let say its about 6V 1A for both of them
The structure are just paper soak with wax, this make it water resistance, not water proof. The noise coming out of this AC are much lower than my wall fan. This thing power are around 20 to 25W. All the fan are running at low to mid power
