The Man Who Gave India Parmanu Shakti - Satinder Kumar Sikka

On this day 28 years ago, 11th May 1998, India tested 3 nuclear devices. 50 years before that, a young boy and his family escaped Pakistan during the partition and came to India with just the clothes on their backs. That young boy, Satinder Kumar Sikka, would go on to become the chief scientist of the 1st device tested, Shakti 1. So today, let us remember Satinder Kumar Sikka and his contributions to the Indian nuclear program against all odds.
