Been on a flare for many years, untreated, finally getting some treatment now. Mezavant was given at first, but did not seem to be doing anything, given the severity of my flare-up. I am now also on Azathioprine.....I am not sure if this is just me, but I hate the medication with passion. It's been over a month, and I am still having all the worst side effects of it (vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, loss of appetite, nausea). Told my doctor, who then decreased my dosage slightly, but all that did was get rid of the nausea

Has anyone ever been on it before?
If so, how long did it take before you felt normal when taking it?
