Was in emerg again because paaaaaain and couldnt tolerate more than tiny sips of water without excessive nausea and more pain.
After the visit I was going through my medical chart and went back to my last admit. round to look at bloodwork. I noticed my glucose is in the high range consistently but that was when I was fasting for about 4 days. I saw it after the visit but kind of shrugged it off to deal with another day.
Well another day came and I couldnt stop thinking about it last week. Ended up getting a glucose meter because honestly why not, just to make sure things are as they should be.
It's been 5 days now, I test at the same times daily and I've noticed something weird. Usually when one eats, sugars should rise. Mine start at over 100 when I wake, climbs to between 110-120 right before a meal, but drops back down to 103ish post meals.
Just now I was feeling really lethargic and nauseas, haven't ate for 3 hrs so I decided to see what the levels are at and it's climbed to 129.
Im aware these arent dire numbers by any means but I've been tracking and researching and beginning to worry about 3c prediabetes.
Im probably being silly and I'm bringing this info to my doctors as soon as I can (im in Ontario so it's a heck of a wait), but i wanted to pop in here and see if anyone has this kind of wonky levels that is type 3c or prediabetic or just any kind of experience they can toss at me so I can better understand this stuff from an anecdotal perspective instead of purely medical sites.
Thaaaaaanks 💜💙
