The Form
LAPTOP QUESTIONNAIRE
- Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US: $1.2k
- Are you open to refurbs/used? Yes, open to refurbished/used
- How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life? I'm looking for something with a solid chassis. I'd like good I/O options and long battery life.
- How important is weight and thinness to you? Thinness does not matter, but I would rather have something portable and not too heavy.
- Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. 13 inches +
- Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. I want to run the Adobe Suite. Premiere Pro will likely be the heaviest load; I edit 4k video.
- If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? Not planning on gaming
- Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? No specific requirements, but I would prefer a keyboard that doesn't feel mushy. I need at least 1TB native storage and would like 32GB RAM if possible.
- Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. How do we feel about Backmarket for used laptops? I'm also in the market for a new phone.
