So, im looking to replace the Caulking in showers and I keep leaning towards just using a epoxy as ive have so many issues with the caulking. here are some quick bullet points of the Caulking im using
- GE Silicone Sealant: Supreme Silicone, White, 10 oz, Cartridge, 301% to 500% Elongation Range
- It is for commercial/residential use (I work for a university, so this is for dorm halls)
- it keeps getting mold and mildew yearly and doesnt hold up to chemical cleaning very well
- the walls do move quite a bit
Does anyone know of any epoxys that would be a good replacement? We have tired Grout Caulking but none of them seem to hold up to the cleaner we use (H2Orange/Bleach). I see a lot about Sentura, but between the price and quantity you get it doesnt seem like it will work for the scoop of the work, or is it better to just keep re-caulking yearly? I'm looking for all thoughts and opinions.
