I'm starting coursework to do with poetry, and struggling to find a poet to write about from a Marxist perspective without just using a Marxist poet. My best friend is doing Wilfred Owen so I want to avoid him so it doesn't seem like I'm just copying her idea. My English teacher advised to try and find someone who isn't writing from a Marxist perspective, so there'll actually he criticisms and points to make. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm quite stuck and would really appreciate the help.
