I recently realized that one common feature of many of my favorite books was the creation of a found family. Specifically, non-related people forming strong family-like bonds. I really enjoyed A Man Called Ove and just finished Tana French’s Cal Hooper series (which was great.) I’ve also seen this episode in a lot of the dystopian and apocalyptic books I’ve read. Any favorites or recommendations?
