My principal is team cruel and unusual punishment, and the teachers in the office aren't allowed to bring in their own chairs because of the aesthetic. I know. I spend a lot of time looking at my table and writing/looking at books/grading, so having a higher desk attachment isn't really an option, so I am looking to add some cushions and padding to the chair from hell so that I can take some looking up and leaning back breaks to help my truly painful neck and shoulders. Basically I want to malicious compliance my way into being allowed to bring in our own chairs.

The problem is that most office chair attachments are for office chairs, which are significantly higher than this tiny chair meant for middle school students. The neck attachments or back attachments I've found would at best reach maybe my shoulders and are very flimsy. Plus a seat cushion they only hit about mid-back. So I'm asking for help in finding a cushion that has a firm back and is very tall for lumbar support so that it's not relying on the existing chair for the structure. Any and all help in my malicious compliance is appreciated.
