I've been playing Nature Staves in the BZ and it is so easy to get ganked as soon as you are spotted because people just run over your thorns and your mount is instantly despawned... I know I am gonna get said "deal with it, that is how the game works, stop throwing thorns as soon as you see people blabla" but this feels disproportionately disadvantageous, to the point I don't even want to use the weapon I specced up because it just makes you so vulnerable. Being able to quickly mount has made BZ feel quite a bit safer than I expected when I was using other weapons, but now I just get jumped by every other moron with a +300 IP advantage.
Is there any trick to avoid this other than being ultra fast to stop throwing thorns as soon as you see someone? The average gamer will say "just play other weapon or stop whining" but I really hope they figure a way to sort it out, although I can not think of one myself.
