Hello,
Struggling for quite a while, had a colonoscopy and the breath test. Positive for methane gas critters.
I was offered neomycin and Xifanax or secondary, flagyl and neomycin
The Xifanax had a $1,278 copay.
I opted for the flagyl and neomycin combo as a first step mainly due to costs.
Did I make a mistake and will I end up having to go the neomycin and Xifanax route to clear it?
Has anyone had similar recommendations where the flagyl and neomycin cleared it up?
How long until I feel better ?
Did you have reoccurring issues?

I’m also taking fiber supplements and miralx daily to ensure I have bowel movements regularly.
My SIBO was a result of severe constipation and a large stool mass
Any help / guidance is appreciated!
