Hello! I’m unfortunately quite silly and booked a very tight connection of 1.5 hours for an international flight into Fukuoka Airport transferring to a domestic flight to Tokyo. It’s also a self-transfer, so it wasn’t all on one itinerary.
I did book a refundable backup flight, but I’m really hoping I’ll be able to make my initial flight despite the tight layover time and needing to take a bus between the international and domestic terminals. I have carry-on only and no checked bag.
I know I can fill out the customs form ahead of time and get the QR code, but I was wondering if anyone knows how long immigration/customs at the international terminal and security at the domestic terminal typically takes at Fukuoka Airport? I’ll be landing at around 5 PM next week Saturday.
Any insight would be appreciated! Worst case scenario, I’ll just go with my backup flight, so I’ll be okay regardless. I just really want to get an idea of it’s even possible at all to get on that original flight. Thank you!
