G&R Kelly landscape subcontractor has done some crap

I don’t know if there’s one subcontractor they use, or who they are - they wouldn’t tell me when I asked.

We had a sewer line replaced a couple years ago by G&R Kelly before moving into our home, sellers deal. The guys they hired for the landscaping did some really nasty work that we are now learning even more about while trying to repair it.

- Almost all of the sod they laid outright died

- We found massive boulders in the topsoil

- In some areas they laid sod directly on gravel, literally no topsoil beneath

- The whole area they laid was depressed from the untouched area by about 2 inches (basically 2/3 of our front yard)

A friend of ours had a similar experience and they are also working to build up and repair the soil. I’m wondering if others have experienced this.

At the time the work was being done we pointed out directly to G&R Kelly that there was clearly_soddy_ work being done, they replied saying “it’ll be fine” and when I asked what company was doing the work they stopped replying.

I’m looking to do a small home network thing, running cat6 from my modem up to my office (40ft roughly, up a floor, wall plated on one end). I’m wondering if there’s a good store for this in the area with a good knowledge of networking.

I’m almost done researching and even picking out products online but I just wonder if there’s a “spot” where I might find networking geeks to sanity check. Right now I have AI and a vague memory of what I learned in college to go by (went the software route). Open to talking it through here too if anyone’s game.

*Edit: the spot was here all along hahaha (I had a feeling). I was scoping from PrimeCable and I appreciate that it repeatedly came up.
