So i saw what seemed to be coolant in the oil so i started my journey of checking the head gasket and with that the cylinders and valves because it s a pretty old motorcycle and i don't have any knowledge of it s past owners. I took the engine off the bike and got to work. I took off the cam cap and then the chain tensioner, took the camshafts off and all the cam case's bolts. Now is the moment where it all crumbled down to pieces. I tried to lift the cam case off. The springs and the retentioners won't let it come off completely because i can get about 2cm of lift and it gets stuck. It seemed weird so i started looking online. Not once have i seen this problem. So the next thing i tried is just to unscrew the bolts through the cam cap. Great now i didn't really have an adaptor from 6mm hex to a socket wrench so i tried it with an L hex and a long metal bar. Tried one of the bolts, the hex got bent and the bolt stripped, great! I went to a tool shop and got a 6mm hex with a socket adaptor. I got two bolts loose only after i ve hammered them with the impact about 5 minutes each and then forcing them with a long torque wrench. Now the bolts keep stripping. I don't want to see this garbage ever again in my life. If you ve got any advice of how to remove the cam case or to loosen the stripped bolts please leave it here. Thanks.
