Hello vets. My handsome boy is about a year old. Not fixed (he’s getting fixed soon waiting on a voucher) anyway. Since I found him in July of 2025 outside he has strictly been an inside cat. Well, we were moving drywall into my house and he squeezed past someone and wouldn’t come back. He was gone for two days and I tried everything to get him back. He finally came to the door and had this bump on his head it didn’t look like this at first. It’s about the size of a gum ball I’d say. I am calling the vet in the morning, but I’m just worried. What could this be? I’ve never seen this and growing up we had many outside cats. It definitely feels like he got into a brawl out there. I’m so worried about him. I just lost my 12 year old dog from old age last April, I don’t want to lose him also. Any ideas what this could be? Knowing my vet I probably won’t get in til 2pm or 3pm tomorrow. Any help is appreciate! Thank you.
