ideas and plot for a fanfiction crossover Megaman X into DCAU world: (Justice League The Animated Series x Megaman X) (Update Version)
(This is an updated version that includes new one and some changes. but don't judge a book by its cover.)
It would be a good idea for a crossover fanfiction about Mega-Man X in the DCAU, specifically the Justice League The Animated Series. Consider the events of the Mega-Man X 5 ending, where Zero sacrifices himself to defeat Sigma and Dr. Light as hologram repairs X. This time, Dr. Light considers the world safe from Sigma permanently. He plans to protect his son from Sigma by conducting research to relocate X to a place free from the Maverick War, ensuring his son's safety – which is the DCAU in episode 1 of Justice League The Animated Series: "Secret Origins" The fully repaired X was pushed into Dr. Light's capsule and transporting him into the DCAU. However, Dr. Light was unaware that 'Something' had secretly into to the Capsules. When the capsule landed on the new world and it opened, X woke up in Metropolis by confused and disoriented but he heard the screams of the townspeople and X Dash to go find the source until he saw Batman and Superman have tough battle with Imperium Walker. This triggered X's protective instincts, causing him to rush to helping Batman and Superman, firing his X-Buster at the Imperium Walker which surprising Batman and Superman. After X used his full Charge Shot on Imperium Walker with use Z-Saber cut off all three legs of Imperium Walker until it destroyed while X was interacting with them, suddenly X receives telepathy from Martian Manhunter (X's mind is incredibly advanced, on par with or even surpassing humans, capable of receiving Martian Manhunter's telepathy). X follow Batman and Superman go to a U.S. Army base, when they recuse Martian Manhunter from U.S. Army base until X meet other heroes; The Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Hawkgirl in An alien invasion of Earth forces X to team up with these newly met heroes. After successfully repelling the invaders, the seven heroes stand atop the under-construction Watchtower space base in Space Station - Earth visible in the background.
X stood by the large window, sunlight reflecting from Earth illuminating his blue armor. Though his face appeared calm, his eyes were filled with an inexplicable confusion and emptiness. Unconsciously, he gripped the hilt of the Z-Saber at his waist tightly. Superman approached, his smile warm and respectful. Superman: "X... I don't know where you came from, or what you've been through in your previous life... but your power and courage saved our world today." X: (Turning back, his head slightly lowered) "I... I just did what a machine like me was made to do. But now... I have no purpose, no home to return to. My world is nothing but emptiness." Superman: (Gently placing his hand on X's shoulder) "If you have nowhere to go, or are searching for who you are... join us. This is your new family. You're not just a machine, X... you're a hero." X looked up at Superman, then at the other members. Wonder Woman gave Flash a faint smile and a thumbs-up, while Batman stood with his arms crossed in the shadows... X met his gaze and nodded slightly, acknowledging his will and fighting skill. X took a deep breath (even though his body didn't need to). He felt a warmth he couldn't recall having felt before. X: "Okay... I'll fight alongside you." The camera zoomed out to show the eight heroes standing in a line with the world as the backdrop. [Music: The classic Justice League theme plays loudly, and the credits roll.]
(The opening scene based on the Bad Ending of Megaman X5, where X loses his memory of Zero and wields the Z-Saber because Dr. Light didn't want his son to experience the pain of losing his best friend, and every time he used the Z-Saber, it would remind him of Zero, so he had to erase that memory.)
But I swear, no matter what, Sigma always come back, because he's harder to kill than a cockroach, will follow X into the DCAU by Dr Light's Capsules but Sigma at his weakest as the Sigma Virus, after being eliminated by Zero. It'll be similar to Sigma in X6 when he was weakened from his recent resurrection. Even if X escapes to a new universe, he can't escape Sigma. But right now, at his weakest, he needs a place to reside, and undoubtedly, LexCorp is the perfect location. He might even possess Lex Luthor's computer and encounter him, Sigma claims to be an advanced artificial intelligence from another dimension, banished from its original universe because no one understood its sophisticated concepts, which have the potential to change the world and He'll be interested in Lex Luthor's ideology and want to help develop technology. Even though Lex Luthor has a huge ego and doesn't trust easily, an offer like this is rare, especially for technology from the future in the Mega Man X universe. He might even name himself in other name to prevent the Justice League, especially X, from knowing of his existence. Of course, when an X hater meets a Superman hater, the result is an alliance. Lex Luthor believes he can control Sigma, that he can use Kill Switch on Sigma whenever he wants, but he doesn't know enough about it yet. These two are plotting against each other, anticipating betrayal. Simply put, Sigma is X's nemesis, a source of deep resentment, but understandable. This blue Reploid has kill him 'seven times' in each game, (because with Xtreme and Xtreme 2 in Gameboy Color) so his hatred for Megaman X isn't surprising.
I've been thinking of reasons to bring back the Maverick bosses from games X1 through X5 in the series. is that the Sigma virus acts like a "Cloud Backup," containing the memories, creation codes, and blueprints Reploid's DNA Soul who infected with the Sigma virus, it's enough to allow Lex Luthor to create a body using his resources and the blueprints from Sigma. Then, Sigma can transfer the data and memories of the Maverick Bosses into this empty body, resurrecting them. For example, Magma Dragoon, as he secretly envisioned, still retains its original memories; it remembers X when it opens its eyes in LexCorp's lab and sees Sigma. Magma Dragoon: "X! Where are you?! I haven't finished fighting him yet!" Lex would be amazed by this artificial intelligence system with such a strong "desire." He would see Dragoon as a formidable weapon in his confrontation with Superman. "You're not just a program, you're a 'warrior' who loves to fight, aren't you? Well, I know someone you might be interested in fighting," Lex pointed to the screen showing Superman.
There are other interesting characters too: Cyber Peacock who will disrupt and hacking the Watchtower's servers; Storm Eagle flying in the air and guarding Lexcorp from atop a building, and Crush Crawfish stationed on Lexcorp's cargo ship. Armored Armadillo who will be sent into mines or serve as Lexcorp's security guard; Magna Centipede who will likely fight Batman and be Lex Luthor's trusted agent for assassination or data theft missions; Launcher Octopus who sent on missions to retrieve rare underwater resources like oil, But that would just tease Aquaman; and Frost Walrus (even though Frost Walrus is a Repliforce, it could be argued that Sigma secretly implanted a virus into them without their knowledge, leading to his fight against X, but he's still a formidable character who killed Blizzard Buffalo at his stage in X4). Most of them harbor personal grudges against X, understandable given their previous encounter in the original world, and there are even more dangerous, it's Vile who's quite difficult to control due to his deep-seated resentment towards X.
I have an plans to bring Zero back in JL season 2.
When Dr. Light learns of this, he'll likely be devastated. He went to great lengths to keep his son safe from the war so X could live in a new universe without Sigma, but Sigma still followed. He might have to resort to this method, repairing Zero to help X. He knows this because he's been secretly watching X, but Zero probably won't reveal his true identity to X immediately. When he does reveal himself, X will likely be overjoyed, like in Mega Man X6. Zero might come to reclaim his Z-Saber, which is in X's hands because based on the ending of Mega Man X5 where X has the Z-Saber. So Zero without the Z-Saber doesn't seem like the Zero, right? He might make his debut during the introduction of Fake Zero and the Maverick Bosses, but more powerful. However, when the real Zero appears, Fake Zero will likely get beaten up by his partners, However, Zero won't immediately join the Justice League; he'll go solo. If anything happens to the Justice League, he'll come to help, and later, he might actually join them. While Fake Zero was being overwhelmed, Maverick Bosses like Storm Eagle, Magna Centipede, and Magma Dragoon, who were watching, probably thought that Magna Centipede was warning Magma Dragoon not to fight Zero because it was too reckless. Besides, according to the manga, Magna Centipede was once in Unit 0 (Shinobi Unit) under Zero's leadership, so he would know Zero's abilities and danger better than Magma Dragoon who saw Zero as a worthy opponent in his original world (In the case that X was the one who fought Magma Dragoon in X4 and eliminate him, this time is his chance to fight Zero.) but Storm Eagle agreed with Magna Centipede's warning and told Dragoon listen Centipede's warning.
When Magma Dragoon ignored Magna Centipede's warning and was about to jump into the fight, he was suddenly paralyzed by Magna Centipede's poisonous tail virus before being taken away. This was on Sigma's orders, as he didn't want to lose valuable resources. Furthermore, Zero's introduction wasn't part of their plan anyway, as Zero should have been dead in his original world (X5). Did Sigma kill Zero with his own hands, or was it Dr. Light's doing... leaving Fake Zero as bait to buy time for their escape
(Hopefully someone will leave a comment)
