Not ever having more than 10 dollars to myself growing up, I never learned much on the money-saving front, sadly. Since graduating from college a few years ago, I figured never spending more than 50% each of my paychecks unless in an emergency was a pretty safe way to live and has never put me in a situation where I could not afford something necessary.

This year, my company started matching our 401(k), which is what started my greater efforts to begin prepping for my future. I've been reading the advice on the wiki, but it seems more trajectory-based and how to keep building, when it seems like I need to start trying to do a little catch-up. Happy to answer any additional questions to help get my savings where they should be as an adult, and thank you!
