So, don't crucify me or anything but...we might be wrong about the new RE movie being horrible.

Hear me out, we've had other movies claim to be a live action RE movie, and each time, they sucked, maybe the first one was the closest we got, but after that, they all sucked, especially Resident Fucky: welcome to Shitty City, as i like to all it.

That move had almost all the boxes checked; it took place in Racoon City, check, it had iconic locations, check, it had the storyline of William Burkin, which was a half check because it made him into something he wasn't, and Sherry? No Sherry for you, and that's where all the good things end cause after, it goes down hill; Leon, Jill, Wesker? Those were NOT our characters, Jill was unlikable, Leon was a rookie at everything, and Wesker? What the fuck was that chump?!

That guy wasn't a badass trying to rule the world, he was a buddy who sacrificed himself and was recruited by Ada, which honestly, may be partly why i don't like her, besides the fact the Remakes give no reason to care about her unlike the original RE2 did, and I don't even like the original because of the way it played, and don't like the Remake because it's mostly the same game each story, but with a few small changes.

So we had a movie that was "promised" to be a good RE movie, and Welcome to Raccoon City failed because it forgot what made a good RE story, it tried to make us like Wesker, it made Leon no good at anything, it tired to cram two (maybe 3) games into one movie, they should've either picked RE1 or RE2, or had a moment from RE1 in the start, and then we went into RE2. Also, no Mr. X, why make and RE2 movie if you're not gonna include the big baddy himself?

Yes, I'm not too thrilled about the new RE movie with some of the trailer, but here's a valid point, it's not an adaptation, it's about an NPC who gets thrown into a nightmare with no idea how to survive, he's not a fighter like Jill or Chris, he's not a cool one liner like Leon or even a GOAT like Ethan, he's a guy trying to get back to his girlfriend, and the biggest thing I don't like is the snow, it's supposed to take place on "September 30th, 1998. It's a day I'll never forget. The cop inside me died that day. And that night, Raccoon City was wiped out, thanks to the bioweapons created by Umbrella. Somehow, I made it out. But too many others...weren't so lucky. I was "asked" later to join a top-secret government program. Not that I had a choice. The training, the punishing missions...nearly killed me, but at least they kept my mind off everything. If I could just forget what happened that night - the pain, even for a second? This time, it can be different. It has to." and you know what? the more I think about it, if other live action RE movies with Leon, Claire, Wekser, (and I mean the Paul West Anderson one, not the Shitty City chum) and even iconic monsters suck, I'm fine with an NPC being thrown into a movie that has the core of the games, he starts out with a small, pitiful pistol, then he gets a shotgun, then an MP5, the order we'd all get guns in any RE game, unless it's re9, you're on NG+ as Leon and you get the in game store right away, which makes sense, he's the action part of any RE game, Grace isn't. Brian, the MC of this movie, he has to look around a house for ammo because the shotgun has none, he has to use keys to get into new places, pretty sure there's gonna be something about the green herbs, our best friend in any RE game, and since it's pre-nuke, I'm sure he won't make it out alive, and honestly, not all RE characters are gonna make it out alive.

Still not thrilled about the snow since it's supposed to take place on September 30th, 1998, but Zach has played the games, he knows about the lore, so maybe, just maybe we can finally get a live-action RE movie that while it's not an adaptation of the games, it respects them and won't give us chump Wesker like Welcome to Raccoon City did.

Again, please don't kill me, but I think we may be wrong. If anything, let's go into the movie with an open, but still careful mind, we may be right, but we may also be surprised.
