My dog has anxiety induced seizures at vets what do people use to help reduce the epi dogs fear/anxiety safely for vet visits etc

My epi girl is due her annual checks but everytime she goes to the vets she has a seizure as she works herself up that much the anxiety causes her to have them. She takes phenobarb for her epilepsy but the vets has prescibed her 200mg gabapentin and 50mg trazodone to be taken at bedtime and the same again two hours prior to her

appointment for situational anxiety for the appointment only hoping it will prevent a seizure. We havent tried these meds before sonim worried and unsure what to expect .Im not keen on giving her the trazodone as read alot about it causing seizures as it lowers the threshold so im at a cross roads on what to do. Her appointment is this wednesday at 2.15pm and i feel like i need anxiety meds too im that worriedand dreading the day lol the vet listened to my concerns about the trazodone and said if i wanted to just try her with the gabapentin and see if that is enough and helps with her anxiety and at preventing a seizure just give her that, i just dont know what to do . Any feed back or experiences would be appreciated. What are peoples experiences with treating anxiety induced seizures in epileptic dogs and the medications mentioned any suggestions also welcome!?
