Hey Middletown!
If you’re looking for something soul-stirring to do tomorrow night, we’ve got a heavy-hitter coming to Main Street. Tyler Nail is a North Carolina-born songwriter who recently traded the Appalachian foothills for New England, and his live show is something else—think cinematic storytelling meets a loud, unmistakable Southern grit.
The Details:
- Where: The Buttonwood Tree Performing Arts Center (605 Main St, Middletown)
- When: Tomorrow, April 17th | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Tickets/Info: https://buttonwood.networkforgood.com/events/95338-tyler-nail-with-steve-harz
Why you should come out: Tyler grew up in a log cabin his grandfather built, and you can hear that "red clay" history in his music. He’s a wiry, high-energy performer who plays a rare two-finger Piedmont guitar style. He’s shared stages with American Aquarium and The Hackensaw Boys, and his 2025 album Family is a beautiful tribute to his roots.
Opening the night: Steve Harz, an award-winning poet turned indie-folk musician. Steve has a knack for turning lyrics about "ghosts and God" into songs that stay with you long after the set is over.
The Buttonwood is an awesome, intimate venue—perfect for this kind of songwriting. Whether you’re a fan of Americana or just want to support live music on a Friday night, come say hi!
