35 w/ PCOS & irregular cycles
- Withdrawal bleed with provera: Jan 16–20
- Next natural period: March 13–16
- Suspected ovulation: ~April 8 (cycle day 27)
- Positive test: April 22 (~13–14 DPO)
hCG:
- April 29: 3,500
- May 1: 7,916 (more than doubled in ~48 hours)
Symptoms:
- Spotting April 23–26 (now resolved)
- Mild, intermittent cramping still
Ultrasound (around May 1):
- Gestational sac seen
- No yolk sac or fetal pole yet
Next scan scheduled for 5/15
Based on LMP I’d be ~7 weeks, but based on late ovulation I’m closer to ~5 weeks at the time of the scan.
Has anyone had a similar situation with late ovulation and an early scan showing only a sac at ~5 weeks that progressed normally? Trying to stay realistic but would really appreciate hearing others’ outcomes.
