Studying Italian and Spanish
I have always wanted to learn Italian. I am passionate about it due to family heritage, and have self studied it for a year. I am not conversational though. Now I am taking a Spanish class with my boyfriend. I have also always wanted to know Spanish too, but not as much as Italian. Spanish is definitely more practical for me right now because I have MANY people around me I could practice with (not the case with Italian).
Would it make more sense to learn both at the same time or to take a break from Italian, learn Spanish to a conversational level, and return to Italian later?
