Thinking about moving from AZ to Utah. Or maybe Colorado? Really, we may just move anywhere. Want to know what other people’s experiences were like in various states. In Arizona we don’t have humidity or snow, but also can expect consistent 110+ degrees this summer and no shade for outdoor (like to hike).

My top choice is Utah or Colorado because it’s close enough that climate won’t be drastically different, both have similar cost of living and I can hike in shade!!!

Current contenders for MS Care:

Utah, Provo:
University of Utah Neurology Center
(Comprehensive Care Center according to MS Society)
-or-
Rocky Mountain MS Center
(Also comprehensive Care Center)

Denver, Colorado:
Rocky Mountain MS Center
(Comprehensive Care Center)

Chicago, Illinois:
University of Chicago MS Center
(Comprehensive Care Center)

Boston, Massachusetts:
Brigham and Women’s Hospital MS Center
(Comprehensive Care Center)

Rochester, Minnesota:
Mayo Clinic
(Comprehensive Care Center)

Anyone’s thoughts on any of these?? MS Society does not list my current branch of Mayo as comprehensive care and I am not sure how much different the care would be elsewhere… but also I need to escape the heat. So it is not the full consideration, just don’t want to get worse care
