Image 1 — Finally decided to start being more thoughtful of my wardrobe and update it from Sweaters and Sweatpants. Picked up a few things from some thrift stores and I dig the whole over/undershirt combo, but I'm open to other ideas.

I've also only found one pair of pants that I've really liked, hoping to find a black pair of a similar style. My next goal is the pants, but also a plain purple t-shirt to go under the black button-up. I was told long ago that I wear purple well so I'll see if that remains to be true. Other than this I have no real ideas about what else to include.

Shoes have always been a struggle for me, I wear on average size 13-14 depending on where I get them from, so options are usually very limited in my experience. I have some dusty ass runners right now but that's it.

Long hair enjoyer, thinking about going a little shorter, also not sure if it looks better put up or left down

I've always strongly disliked how I looked with short hair so I've grown it out the last 5 or so years. Lately I've been thinking it's a tad too long, putting it up in a quick bun leaves a lot of excess that irritates my neck. I have to at least put it up for work even if I decide to leave it down outside of that.

Something else that I'm keeping in mind is that I've been due to get glasses and this year I think I'm finally going to cave and get checked, but the whole glasses + man bun + beard = full blown Turbo-Hipster, and I'm not about that.

I've been tinkering with the idea of shoulder-ish length hair left down would maybe look okay with glasses, going for a "high-school music teacher" vibe as one of my friends mentioned.

Any thoughts or recommendations are welcome, thanks guys :)
