I’m in Year 11 doing foundation GCSE Maths, so I’m capped at a 5.
I want to take A-level Mathematics, so I’m planning to resit GCSE Maths on higher tier in November.
How realistic is it to switch into A-level Maths in January after getting the resit results? Does it depend heavily on the sixth form, or is it something that’s commonly allowed?
If anyone has done this or seen it happen, I’d appreciate hearing how it worked.
