Hi everyone! I adopted 2 beautiful pups close to 3 years ago. When I got them (I was told they were approx. 2 - they were found running the streets so no real background info on them) they had just gotten their teeth cleaned and their vet check. Our girl Maisy had quite a few teeth pulled.
I try to brush their teeth weekly (I know it should be daily) but Maisy clenches her teeth so much to not let me in. I just recently got my boys teeth cleaned (they pulled 3 teeth) and she just went today for her cleaning.
I just picked her up and they had to pull all her teeth. I feel absolutely terrible. I can't believe I let it get that bad where now she has no teeth at all. So now she will only have wet food (which she always loved / I mix it with their dry food) but I still feel terrible.
Anyone else have a cav with no teeth? How are they now? She's just lying her sleeping but I'm sure she's not feeling great. I just hope she goes back to her happy self and that this really isn't going to be awful for her forever.
