Special events should require the same license level it takes to drive the car in official races (RANT)
Alright I'll admit I'm pissed and I need to rant, but I think this is a fair point of discussion. Why are C class drivers who literally can't even drive the indycar allowed to drive the Indy 500? My split had 6 cautions before 50 laps because people can't drive the car and are constantly crashing, and then on lap 192 I get taken out by a D class 4.0 driver who literally has 12 total oval races on their account. I get that it's cool that anyone can qualify for a higher split in the indy 500 because it's by time, but it's honestly a joke when you end up in a 2.5k average split with a 1300 IR driver who gets in a crash on lap 10 and then drives the ENTIRE RACE 3 laps down getting in everyone's way. What's the actual point? I put in practice just to get taken out by guys who clearly haven't practiced because they literally can't do practice races in officials.
If we determine drivers should have a B license to drive the Indycar, The indy 500 should also require a B license. Same should go for all special events honestly. Insanely frustrating that people who literally joined the service less than a month ago can take me out, when I started doing indy car prep and practice at the start of this year to try and get in a good result.
