P0303 code advice
2010 Subaru forester, 152k miles
Started up my car the other day and drove down the block to feel my engine sputtering. Pulled over and check engine light came on, tried to accelerate and car wouldn’t move plus the engine was shaking. P0303 code when scanned.
About 30 minutes later started the car up again and no engine shaking and was able to accelerate just fine. Pushed on the ignition coils and felt one go in a little bit so figured it may have been loose.
Took it to the mechanic and he checked the coils and cylinder 3 plug and said everything was fine. He recently replaced a hose in that area and said he may have knocked the coils loose. Cleared the code. I’ve been driving okay but when I come to a stop I still feel a little shaking (not sure if it’s out of the ordinary or if I’m just over analyzing things now since I had this problem).
Any advice on what to do and if it sounds about right and the problem is solved.
