I work in education so my insurance already is a pile of shit anyway. I’ve been trying to appeal to insurance for a YEAR to get them to pay for just a tiny bit of Zepbound and they continuously deny it. I’ve off and on done the compound version and it is just so amazing for my pcos and I feel so amazing on it. No bloating. Limited acne. No fatigue.
But god forbid insurance wants to help. The only weight loss benefits I have is nutritional counseling… because that would be such a great big help for me. I could eat literally the healthiest things in the world, work out every day, and still be STUCK where I am. My insulin resistance just does not want me to lose weight.
Looking at other options now besides Zepbound or the compound. Can’t afford it anymore especially when I’m trying to save up to buy my first house.
Has anyone tried any other types of medications or anything that helps with their pcos? I’m on birth control but the only thing that has been doing for me is a somewhat consistent period… 🙃
