So i just went on a trip through the mountains and noticed something with the transmission that i had not noticed before. To my knowledge, my 04 sr5 v6 has the 4 speed. When driving up the mountain highways, the trans seemed to downshift twice into 3rd gear, which made it seem like I actually have 5 gears. Can anyone explain this?
