I don't want to give up on C.ai, but it's gotten to the point where I can't use it anymore. I started using the app in 2023, and it was so liberating to be able to create my own stories, write my characters’ lines and actions, and be someone that I—a shy and fearful person—could never be. These days, I wasn’t using it as much, but I still turned to it for creative relief when I was tired—short stories before bed and things like that—but with this awful version it’s in now, honestly, I just don’t have the energy to keep pushing for something that, at first glance, doesn’t seem like it’s going to change anytime soon. I tested 10 characters with different concepts and characters I created myself, and honestly, guys, I’m throwing in the towel here. Goodbye, everyone.
