So as the title sais, I can't remember exactly wich of the two if not both animals appears in the game but, it was a simple game on specifically an old slider phone one of my parents had from around the mid to late 2000's. Been looking for it as one of a handful of demos and cheap little games I played on my parents old flip/slider phones as I've been wanting to archive them on my current devices for emulating old games.
Specific details and loose recollections:
- You play as one of the two animals I mentioned in the title and jumped horizontally through what I want to say were clouds by measuring the correct amount of distance you'd need to jump from platform to platform.
- While I never made it far through the game since it was either a timed demo or the levels just had a very short time limit, I at one point managed to get enough points before the timer ended that it unlocked a second character, playing an animation of it hatching from an egg, Wich is why I'm honestly not certain if it was a monkey or hamster that you played as at the start, but I have an image of both being present in my mind.
- The game had a very cutesie cartoony artstyle with bright colors, not entirely pastel and "kawaii" but definitely leaning into that Japanese cutesie look of stuff like hamtaro, chikawa, sanrio etc.
- i had played it on an old slider phone from around 2006 to 2011-ish, it came preinstalled, possibly as a timed demo.
- gameplay was very similar to but not exactly alike to another more infamous flip phone game jumpman Wich most ppl might know as the one flipphone that illegally used sonic 2 music in it, no relation to it that I know of however aside from the similar game mechanics of having to aim to make a jump and a fast timer.
