Wandered past this snake while walking through Coombabah Koala reserve on the Gold Coast this weekend. Managed to get a couple low quality pics as we did not want to get too close. I know Eastern Browns and Red Bellies are common in the area but it could be something else. The body was almost black and about as thick as my arm. Was my first real sighting of a wild snake, pretty exciting but not keen to hang around 😂
