In arranging cupboards and shelves, especially in the kitchen, it’s easy to get sidetracked by alphabetizing or ordering by height, I find it easier to prioritize most frequently used items by making them most accessible. So, I started thinking of the ingredients and tools used most often as worthy of prime real estate-i.e., easiest to grab. It also means they don’t sit out on the counter if their “home” is easy to reach. Asking myself if something is worthy of prime real estate has helped me prioritize.
